20 minutes of Darksiders II
If your’e still on the fence about Darksiders II, here’s a look at 20 mins of gameplay. D2 so far is a great mash-up of Zelda, Prince of Persia, God of War and Diablo. That’s a whole lot of games.
It’s Darksiders II, man!
Seriously, I was tired as hell when I started this Playthrough but so be it . Check out our Playthrough of Darksiders II here. Darksiders II is now available on PS3, 360 and a rather glitchy PC port. They’re working on it though. Our Youtube page will be updated all week as I horsey time my way through the game.
Darksiders II drops tomorrow. We’ll be starting our Playthrough of Vigil Games apocalyptic action-adventure game tomorrow.
Who’s picking it up?
Darksiders II is full of loot. Lots and lots of loot.
Artist James Brian Jones, part of the art team over at Vigil Games has posted some of his work on the upcoming Darksiders II over at Zbrush Central. The intricate detail to the awesome characters designs are just magnificent. Darksiders II ships next week on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
Darksiders II’s Crucible detailed
Darksiders II is just around the corner and packing a whole lot of game. If journeying through 4 huge realms isn’t enough, you can spend some time in the Crucible.
The Crucible is a combat arena which will provide the ultimate challenge for Darksiders II players. After completing five of the mode’s 100 unique waves, gamers will be given the option of taking a prize or continuing for another five waves for a chance at even better items. However, if they fall in combat they will leave with nothing. Only the most skilled players will have what it takes to best all 100 waves and claim the greatest prizes. Compare your skills with your friends on an online leaderboard and see who’s the real wielder of Death.

Darksiders achievements unlock loot in Darksiders II
Players who played the first Darksiders will unlock the Pauldron of the Horsemen in Darksiders II. This level 5 legendary armor piece boosts all Death’s stats as well as his critical damage. Gamers who have finished the game on any difficulty will also earn a level 1 legendary scythe called the Chaos Fang which will boost Death’s damage and critical damage.
The in-game item unlocks are based on Achievements you have unlocked. So if you haven’t completed Darksiders you might want to pull your disk out or download it directly from Xbox Live, PSN or on Steam to get ready for Darksiders II.

What Games Are You Looking Forward To In August
August starts the torrent of big games for late 2012. The Last Story, Darksiders II, Guild Wars 2 and Persona 4 Arena are all nice appetizers for Borderlands 2 in September and beyond.
