Check out the final Halo 4 design for Master Chief
Last week we posted the prototype design for Master Chief in Halo 4. Now, thanks to 343’s weekly update they’ve revealed the first proper look at the near final design for the Chief. I like it! He looks much more agile, which hopefully means he’ll be able to sprint this time. it still has a little bit of a mecha/ Dead Space armor vibe but that’s a good thing. It’s a nice way for 343 to make the Chief their own and go forward with a new vision for Halo. 343 has stated there may be a few more minor tweaks to the armor but for the most part this it.
While we won’t get more info on Halo 4 till Sunday’s Halo-Fest PAX panel, IGN has a small but insightful new video with some of the staff at 343 on what we can expect in Halo 4. It’s refreshing, and honestly about damn time to see that a developer is going to at least delve into the Chiefs past. John is a character that in the books has a lot of personality and a hell of a backstory, one that Bungie has never been able to transfer to a game. I’m excited to hear that 343 is going to take on the challenge and finally give John some much needed attention in Halo 4.
