Square-Enix’s classic assless chaps wearing hero Ashley Riot is ready for some non-solid-pants wearing action in this piece by 2013.

Fans of the Persona series are in for some good news as Atlus has confirmed that development on Persona 5 is hitting its stride.
“Currently, the preliminary work towards developing the next numbered title [in the series] is pretty much over – we’re about at the point where the game’s development will proceed at full tilt,” said series director Hashino said during a recent magazine interview.
Persona 5 will also be using a new internal engine, perhaps based on Gamebryo which was used for Catherine to great affect. Expect news on a the new Persona perhaps at this years E3 or if tradition continues in Famitsu soon.

Square-Enix just released a fact sheet for FFXIII-2. Not a whole bunch of new info we don’t already know but it sure does look nice on paper. FFXIII-2 releases this coming January on PS3 and Xbox 360 in both Europe and North America.

Here’s some new gameplay footage of Final Fantasy XIII-2 taken straight from this weeks Comic-Con. Needless to say, the game visually looks beautiful. Hopefully Square has fixed a lot of what made FFXIII not the Final Fantasy fans were expecting. By all accounts town and puzzles are now in, that alone is a nice improvement. Enjoy!

Square-Enix has released some new screens and art of Final Fantasy XIII-2. Expect more info in the next few months as without a doubt FFXIII-2 will have a huge blow out at TGS this September.

No America, you’re still not getting Xenoblade. But if you happen to be European rejoice as not only are you getting Xenoblade Chronicles, you’re also getting it earlier than expected to boot!

It was announced this week at Japan Expo that Final Fantasy XIII-2’s composers will be Masashi Hamauzu, Mitsuto Suzuki and Naoshi Mizuta. You can get a sneak peek at some of their work, plus more FFXIII-2 footage after the break.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 was one of the few JRPG’s this year at E3 and is just as beautiful as FFXIII. Unlike previous FF titles, it seems Square-Enix is actually drip-feeding info and keeping the hype going.

Xenoblade is finally coming to EU this September. No word yet if it will make its way to the US, but man are fans trying. We at least finally have some footage of Xenoblade in English. Check out some gameplay after the break.

Final Fantasy XIII may not have been the amazing open-world JRPG successor to FFXII that many wanted, but according to Final Fantasy XIII Producer Yoshinori Kitase the title has still done incredibly well. Well enough to move over 6 million copies!
