Play more Halo 4 and get free MS points Microsoft is really pushing the hell out of Halo 4. I understand why and all, it being their big holiday season game but this is wild even for them. The more Halo MP you play, the more free MS points you’ll earn to spend on stuff on Xbox Live. It’s an interesting way of getting folks to play a game, perhaps they should do this more often. Playing 140 plus hours will net you 600 pts. Not a lot, but it’s something for free for doing something you were already gonna do.

Microsoft launches Xbox 360 in Israel with Halo 4 and massive Lulz

Halo 4 is obviously out today and if you still haven’t gotten you’re copy or are on the fence about it, don’t sweat it, we’ll have plenty of video and impressions soon. Microsoft being the marketing gurus they are decided this was the best way to announce Halo 4 in Israel. I have no idea what the hell I just saw but it was too hilarious not to share. 

You have to give the Chief credit, he’s incredibly humble ;)

In less than 24 hours 343 Industries, a studio made up of some of the most talented artists, programmers, designers and musicians in the gaming industry will present to the world their 3 1/2 year effort in not only taking on the mantle of an established and loved property, but also moving forward one of the gaming industries biggest franchises. It’s no small task, and one that if I were in the position of, would be crapping myself.

Halo Waypoint gets a big update

Halo Waypoint is getting a fresh new update just in time for Halo 4. The new updated Waypoint will be accessible in-game while playing Halo 4 for several reasons. The biggest being that Halo 4’s ‘Terminals’ will be accessed via Waypoint. Expect tons of new stats, and special features for Spartan Ops to slowly activate through Waypoint. In conjunction with the Xbox app update are features via Xbox Smart Glass and a new update for Waypoint’s online destination; which will be the new place to store Halo screens and game videos online.

Happy Friday all. Can you believe we’re already in November?! It’s kind of crazy that next week is the launch of Halo 4, a game that it seems many Halo fans have been waiting forever for. The following week we’ll all be digging into Black Ops II and probably bitching about hacks. Hopefully, that won’t be the case but… well history has proven that it’s a strong probability. Here’s hoping that Treyarch is gonna work hard on that not happening.
