Konami has put out a video showing off the new HD remake of ZOE. It’s looking rather nice and if you’re still on the fence about picking it up this fall, perhaps the inclusion of Metal Gear Rising demo may help push that decision.
Sega’s classic Dreamcast title is coming to Sony’s little handheld that could. Sega says Vita’s “unique features provide new ways for gamers to interact with the environments of Tokyo-to, from touch functionality that makes spraying graffiti more natural to Vita camera integration”. Sounds neat. We’ll see the title in motion at next months E3.
Zone of the Enders HD Collection coming to PS3 and Xbox 360 this October
Konami has at last announced a release month for the HD remakes of the most frenetic balls-to-the-walls action mech games ever made. If you somehow missed ZOE: The 2nd Runner (which was 1000 times better than the original) you’ll finally have your chance. ZOE2 pulled some some jaw dropping particle effects out the PS2, so much so that I figured Konami had discovered a new processor in there back in the day. No price point yet, but expect news on that and more at Konami’s pre-E3 show next Friday.
Konami will be holding an event celebrating the ZOE franchise this coming May 25th with a huge blowout on the upcoming ZOE HD Collection. At the event will be Kojima and several members of Kojima Productions who have worked on the ZOE series. So fans of high speed mecha combat with dazzling particle effects may want to keep an eye out around the 25th for new footage of the game and an announcement of a Collector’s Edition.
Konami hit my inbox with these boxarts and a confirmation that indeed the Zone of the Enders HD Collection is coming this fall. A little early for that announcement but OK. Nice to mark down another must have for this Holiday season.
Square-Enix surprised everyone last year with the announcement of Final Fantasy X getting the HD treatment. Since then, we’ve had next to no information to go what the remaster will contain or even how it looks. Well, hopefully we’ll be seeing the classic PS2 title in its HD glory soon-ish.

Konami’s Z.O.E. HD Collection is coming next year to the PS3, Vita and Xbox 360. If you’re somehow not excited by Dingo and crew kicking into high gear in HD with Orbital Frames perhaps this new teaser will hype you up.
Konami heard the uproar of the fans and the beeping of cash registers as its announced that the previously PS3 exclusive Silent Hill HD Collection is now going to make its way to Xbox 360 as well. Announced at Gamescom via Silent Hill Downpour producer Tomm Hulett, the HD Collection will launch simultaneously on both the PS3 and Xbox 360 this October.
See, money makes the world go round and also exclusivity from third parties a thing of the past… for the most part at least.
Sony released some new footage of the opening of Shadow of the Colossus in HD, part of the new ICO HD collection hitting the PS3 soon. SOTC was already a beautiful game but now with it’s HD remastering it’s finally getting the extra bit of polish the title lovingly deserves. The ICO collection, which includes both ICO and SOTC releases September 27th on the PS3.
Konami have announced that the upcoming Metal Gear Solid HD collection will deliver sweet close quarters combat at a blistering 60FPS. It’s nice to see Kojima Productions is really going all out with this HD collection. The MGS HD collection will be available this November on PS3 and Xbox 360.
This past E3 Kojima announced the sweet Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for PS3 and Xbox 360. The HD Collection includes Metal Gear Solid: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker all in beautiful HD with achievements/trophies and Transfarring (on the PS3 version).
Well now we know how much this must have collection is going to cost: A very affordable $49.99.
Not a bad deal for what are essentially 3 great games in HD.
