Kojima and del Toro’s Silent Hills To Make TGS Appearance
Odds are you’ve already played through the rather brilliant playable teaser for Silent Hills that was quietly announced and released during Gamescom. Now you want more. More horror, more details and Kojima to spill the damn beans on what he and the always delightful Guillermo del Toro have in store for gamers.

Well, the wait won’t be long. Konami’s Tokyo Game Show lineup has been revealed and we can now confirm that Silent Hills will be making an appearance. With a supposed release set sometime in 2016, it didn’t seem likely that we’d see a lot more from this game so soon after its reveal, but according to Konami’s own TGS lineup page, P.T. will not only be shown, but it will also get a spotlight on Konami’s conference stage. Bring on the horror and the change of pants!

THQ Cancels Guillermo del Toro’s InSane

Excuse me while I go and punch my Cthulhu plushie at this news. THQ has revealed  in their financial reports that long in development InSane is no more. Being developed by Volition Games, InSane was to be a survival horror title penned by del Toro inspired by the work of Lovecraft. Guess fans of Lovecraftian horror have to hope that Remedy Games continues their Alan Wake franchise next-gen, which strongly hints at taking things a little in that direction after Alan Wake’s American Nightmare.
