Sony Santa Monica: GoW III cost $44 million to make
Santa Monica spilled the beans on just how much GOWIII cost to make and it isn’t cheap.
Sony Studio Monica’s John Hight revealed the piece of info in a video interview with GiantBomb.
“We are stamping discs now, so we’re effectively done. Just got a couple of countries that we’re finishing up on this week, and we spent $44 million to make God of War III,” he revealed.

New God of War III footage is jaw-dropping
I’ll be the first to admit, I wasn’t all that impressed with God of War III’s E3 footage. Sure, it looked nice but it wasn’t the mind blowing epic that Sony was touting it was going to be. Well consider me served a huge helping plate of crow, because holy shit does God of War III look amazing. GTTV has an episode dedicated to the other Spartan in the console war and he’s never looked better.

God of War III marketing begins with Slurpee’s
The marketing campaign begins next week. Starting Feb. 1, fans of the Greek mythology-based action game can head to 7-Eleven when the Kratos Fury Slurpee flavor, created by Mtn Dew and the convenience-store chain, debuts. The blackberry-and-lime-flavored drink will also come with a choice of four different “God of War” artwork cups.
