In Defiance, the future is a dangerous place. Starship wreckage is raining to Earth in massive “Arkfall” events that transform the landscape. Experience one first-hand as countless other players — and a star from the Syfy series — battle to survive and profit. Watch Ark Hunters wield the weapons of tomorrow against alien-hybrid horrors in a dynamic, scaling encounter, then travel seamlessly through a unified world into the weekly TV series.

The man in chains is Baird. Features a new squad, called Kilosquad. Expect footage and more details Monday during Microsoft’s event. Oh, and yes it’s being developed by Epic owned People Can Fly and it’s a spin off.

Wondering just awaits Dracula in Lords of Shadow 2? Well, now we know:
In Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, the origin of Dracula and his legendary connection with the Belmonts was revealed. In Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, fans can expect thrilling new twists and challenges. In this shocking conclusion to the Lords of Shadow saga, Dracula returns once again, weakened and yearning for release from his immortal bonds. Facing a new and powerful threat, the vampire lord must reacquire his old powers – and only his castle holds the key. However, the famed Belmont clan also seek his ultimate destruction.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 Producer David Cox has confirmed that we’ll be playing as a Dracula (Gabriel Belmont) in the sequel. Obviously as Dave has said, that means vampire powers. I still want some whip action though, it’s just not the same without a whip.

Resident Evil 6 is huge. I don’t just mean it’s going to be a big AAA title, I mean in content Resident Evil 6 is a beast. Packed with three separate campaigns; Chris, Leon and Jake AKA Wesker Jr., Capcom expects each co-op campaign to come in just shy of Resident Evil 5’s complete length. That’s a HUGE ass game! We’ll be posting more details on RE6 next week.

First and third-party games to be streamed to hardware
Sony’s rumoured cloud gaming deal with Gaikai will allow current-generation hardware to play PlayStation 2 and PSone games via a streaming solution. [GI]
According to sources, the service will offer first-party games and be open to third-party publishers to sell back catalogue to players. The partnership is likely to be announced at E3 next week as part of Sony’s conference on Monday.
As someone who has used both OnLive and Gaikai, I’m not a fan of this. It’s inherent with lag and feels like your playing a video of someone playing a game. But I suppose some folks will get some use of this, even though from the sound of it, it will be on a per title basis and not a Netflix like deal. Expect more details next week. What are your thoughts on bringing back PS2 games via streaming?
