Square-Enix has a bombastic launch trailer for the new ‘Requiem of the Goddess’ DLC for FFXIII-2. It’s out tomorrow in Japan and the US with a price point of 400MS points AKA 5 bucks. It will be available by weeks end in EU as well.
Rumor: Square-Enix leaks Valiant Saga: Final Fantasy

Early last year it was revealed that developer GRIN was working on a Final Fantasy title code named Fortress. It was to be a Western developers take on the Final Fantasy tropes of old. Rumor for now, but the project may have continued life after GRIN’s demise and handed off to EIDOS under the new title of Valiant Saga: Final Fantasy. The fantastic news for Final Fantasy if true, is that the title will take place in one of the most beloved Final Fantasy universes ever, the world of FFXII also known as Ivalice. This is all rumor for now but if true expect first details at this coming E3. Again, this could all be faker than my grandfather’s teeth, which are pretty damn fake. So don’t get your hopes up.
It Came from the Bargain Bin

You don’t need to always shell out $60 for some decent gaming and this weeks ‘It Came from the Bargain Bin’ has some modest deals on some new and not so new games.
- If you’re a fan of Double Fine’s wacky brand of gaming then the “Oh So Fine Bundle” at Amazon will give you a lot of bang for your buck. $9.99 will net you Stacking, Psychonauts and Costume Quest with the Grubbins on Ice DLC. The entire pack is redeemable on Steam.
- Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City has hit the slightly bomba price drop of $39.99 on PS3 and Xbox 360. Reviews are mixed to say the least but if you’re looking for a new multiplayer game to screw around with online, you could do a lot worse. Albeit you could do a lot better. GameStop
- Spend time with Lightning and her multicolored pals in Final Fantasy XIII-2. If you love playing dress-up then the growing library of costume DLC will keep you happy. You can fight and control monsters on PS3 and Xbox 360 for $29.99. GameStop
- Are you Dragonborn? If the answer is, “I don’t know what that means kind sir!”, then it’s times you find the hell out! Steam is offering Elderscrolls V: Skyrim on the platform where adventure never die (thanks to mods!) for $40.
- I’m Batman! OK, no I’m not Batman but you can play as him and kick super villain ass this weekend if you pick up the excellent Batman: Arkham City at GamersGate for $11.98. That’s some damn fine gaming for hella cheap.

First look at Final Fantasy X HD coming soon

Square-Enix surprised everyone last year with the announcement of Final Fantasy X getting the HD treatment. Since then, we’ve had next to no information to go what the remaster will contain or even how it looks. Well, hopefully we’ll be seeing the classic PS2 title in its HD glory soon-ish.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 is now in stores! Check out the launch trailer for Serah and Noel’s time-traveling adventure.
