New Gears of War 3 screens
Epic games has released some lengthy new gameplay footage of its upcoming fps, Bulletstorm, due Feb 22, 2011 for the Xbox 360, PC and PS3. Cliffy B, senior designer at Epic games, takes us through the incredible vistas, explaining key gameplay mechanics and the new skillshot system which contribute to the factors that differentiates Bulletstorm from current gen first person shooters aka you get to do cool shit like shooting someone in the ass!
E3 2010: Bulletstorm Gameplay Demo ⇒
I have to admit right out the gates that I am not a huge fan of Gears of War. At all. It never really sunk it’s hooks into me for some strange reason, and when I first caught a glimpse of Bulletstorm I though “Nice, an obvious way for Epic to bring GoW to the PS3.”
After watching the E3 demo, I was blown away, and all worries of this being “Gears Recast” melted right away. Take a glimpse at the video above —where for the first 30 seconds you get that “Gears” vibe— but then it just goes into full pants pissing awesome the rest of the way through
