Screens from Double Fine’s mech tower defense games Trenched. Expect Trenched June 22nd on XBLA.
How Double Fine gave gamers a voice

This week developer Double Fine did something incredible, and no I’m not strictly speaking of raising over a million dollars in 2 days, although that’s pretty incredible on its own.
Trenched AKA Iron Brigade brings Martian Bears to the battlefield

You gotta love Double Fine, they really have a great sense of humor and one that actually doesn’t feel forced; like having to laugh at a clown at a circus. While they may be working on a new Kinect title for kids they’re still supporting the loot filled mech powered defense title Iron Brigade with new DLC. Rise of the Martian Bear will prob set you back 800 space bucks but don’t quote me on that. Catch the trailer after the break.
Quick Look: TRENCHED

Double Fine’s TRENCHED is now available on XBLA. If you love wacky hi-jinks, which come on, Double Fine is known for and awesome Mech combat; than you may just love TRENCHED. Check out the first 10 mins of the Mech on TV monster combat.
The opening cutscene from Double Fine’s upcoming Tower Defense Mech Shooter TRENCHED. Coming exclusively to XBLA on June 22, 2011
Brad Muir, Geoff Soulis, and Chris Jurney from Double Fine discuss the origins of the XBLA exclusive Trenched in this new dev diary. As a fan of mechs, it’s nice to see at least one developer hasn’t forgotten that blowing stuff up with robots is hella fun.
Seems that Microsoft has corralled itself another exclusive XBLA title, this time from Double Fine. Trenched looks to bring back the fun of Mech Assault along with some zany Double Fine comedy. No release date has been set, but considering MGS is publishing, it looks to be a Summer of Arcade title.
The debut trailer for Double Fine’s Costume Quest delivers. It’s so nice to see creative and fun games like this coming to PSN and XBLA, we need more original titles like this. Expect Costume Quest just in time for Halloween.
