Deus Ex — The Missing Link DLC announced
After being tortured by Belltower agents and having his augmentations disabled, Adam Jensen must rely solely on his basic capabilities to escape from a freighter, destined for an unknown location. While fighting for his survival on the ship, he uncovers another layer to the conspiracy that he never would have suspected. As Adam, gamers will befriend new, mysterious allies and fight ruthless enemies to discover what was happening in the shadows during the events of Deus Ex: Human Revolution!

Thanks to the always awesome Dan Hacker for dropping me a note to let me know that Deus Ex: Human Revolution, which just released last week, is already hella cheaper at GameStop. You can get the non-fancy edition for $45 or wait till this weekend and pick it up for $35 at your local Toys R Us. Remind me again why the hell I buy these things day 1 and then continue to eat Ramen noodles.
If GameStop was around for the original Deus Ex it may have gone a little something like this.

It’s Friday, and that’s a damn good thing as it’s been a crazy week for gaming and wallets weeping over the prospects of this fall gaming rush. The madness begins next week with Deus Ex: Human Revolution from Square-Enix and Eidos, it’s the triumphant return of one of the best damn gaming franchises ever. We’ll be streaming the entire bloody game (if you feel like spoiling yourself) and also having a 15 minute Quick Look if you just want a small taste and don’t want to ruin the meal. Square-Enix Magazine launches (it’s free)
Square-Enix has launched their new official magazine that touches on all things Square-Enix. You’ll find some really decent content on Deus Ex, Final Fantasy XIII-2 and even a bit on the upcoming reboot of Tomb Raider. It’s available now and free digitally here.
