Darksiders II delayed from June to August

THQ and Vigil games have announced that Death won’t be making his scheduled June appearance and instead will be taking a bit more time to polish his scythe for an August release on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Along with this sexy CE is the news that every preorder will be bumped to a LE which will include the first DLC for free. 

The Darksiders II Limited Edition will include the standard retail game along with a unique code allowing the purchaser the opportunity to download the game’s first single player downloadable content pack, Argul’s Tomb for free once it becomes available. All pre-orders of Darksiders II will receive the Limited Edition version of the game at no additional cost.

Inside Xbox has a new preview of the excellent looking Darksiders II. The original Darksiders was a surprise breakout hit for Vigil and THQ and the Death powered sequel looks to better it with massive amounts of customization, platforming and loot. Oh that sweet sweet loot. Darksiders II launches on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 this coming June.
