Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 synopsis revealed

Wondering just awaits Dracula in Lords of Shadow 2? Well, now we know:
In Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, the origin of Dracula and his legendary connection with the Belmonts was revealed. In Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, fans can expect thrilling new twists and challenges. In this shocking conclusion to the Lords of Shadow saga, Dracula returns once again, weakened and yearning for release from his immortal bonds. Facing a new and powerful threat, the vampire lord must reacquire his old powers – and only his castle holds the key. However, the famed Belmont clan also seek his ultimate destruction.
Dracula to be the main character in Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 Producer David Cox has confirmed that we’ll be playing as a Dracula (Gabriel Belmont) in the sequel. Obviously as Dave has said, that means vampire powers. I still want some whip action though, it’s just not the same without a whip.

Prepare to be sucked! Konami’s Pre-E3 presser is this Friday morning

Konami’s 2012 E3 conference is the thing of legends. I’ve said this repeatedly but no one can ever come close to that amount of awesome in one sitting. But who knows maybe Konami can pull it out this year in their Pre-E3 conference. You can catch all of the madness this Friday morning. Expected to be at the show is Metal Gear Rising and a sequel to Castlevania: Lords of Shadow for both PS3, 360 and also one for Nintendo’s 3DS. [Time zones vary by location and I’m not Doctor Who so you’re gonna have figure the time out yourself. PS: Bow Ties are indeed cool.]
Konami teases Castlevania: Lords of Shadow sequel

Konami’s pre-E3 press conference is next week and they’ve already begun the hype for Metal Gear Rising, and now they’re turning their attention to something a bit more dark and foreboding with a sequel to Lords of Shadow. You can check out the teaser site now over at The Dragon Returns. That Dragon being good old Dracula, who will hopefully have a much more consistent frame rate this time.
Rumor: Castlevania: Lords of Shadow sequel coming to Wii U and Vita

It’s pretty much a given that the follow up to the stunningly beautiful Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is going to be announced at next months E3. What is news is that according to the Paul Gale Network, which has a pretty damn solid track record for having true rumors, is that the Lords of Shadow sequel will be making its way to Nintendo’s new Wii U as well as Sony’s PS Vita.
Lords of Shadow was an amazing game; but one that felt hampered by some rather cumbersome control issues and technical problems keeping a steady frame rate. Here’s hoping developer Mercury Steam has done some work on their engine and managed to get the sequel up to snuff. I know many a gamer looking forward to seeing more of Gabriel Belmont.
Rumor: Castlevania Lords of Shadow sequel coming in 2012

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow from Mercury Steam and Kojima Productions was an all around pretty solid action adventure title. It felt more than a little artificially extended and had some rough platforming controls but overall it was a beautiful game and a great first effort from Mercury Steam. LoS producer David Cox is starting off 2012 hinting that we’ll be spending more time with the first Belmont come this year, and if Mercury Steam can build on the solid base of Lords of Shadow then the sequel is sure to be one of the big titles of 2012.
