CD Projekt RED have announced via twitter and their own community page that they’ll be having a nice presentation this week with new details on the The Witcher 2 for Xbox 360. If you’ve always wanted to play the game but have a PC that more or less performs like a hamster on a wheel then listen up.

The Witcher 2, in a very nicely Enhanced Edition is finally coming Q2 to Xbox 360 and it’s going to be sporting a whole lot of content. Not only will it include the work of the previous Witcher 2 patches but it will also have new optimized controls and over 4 hours of new quests, cut scenes and new back story on certain characters. Not a bad deal for gamers looking to check out Geralt on the 360.

CD Projekt just released a new trailer for The Witcher 2 on Xbox 360. It seems they’re really going all out with this version of their highly awarded RPG. They’re tweaking and adding all of the extra content of the PC version, included the new improved combat system. The Witcher 2 hits Xbox 360 early next year.
I think we all saw this coming from a mile away, what with so many big titles this coming autumn, The Witcher 2 needed some breathing room.
CD Projekt have announced that The Witcher 2 for Xbox 360 won’t be making its November launch.
CDP said the delay was down to giving more polish to the game, but also in regards to the company’s ongoing legal battle with Namco over the publishing of the 360 version.
“The extra time will allow us to polish the title to perfection, so that the game offers an ideally balanced, fantastic experience to gamers. As the launch of the game approaches, we will be sharing more details how it will be released on Xbox 360. I trust that despite the release date shift, players will be satisfied with what we are planning for them,” said studio boss Adam Kicinski.

CD Projekt RED: Witcher 2 ‘Better On 360′

Those fearing that The Witcher 2 on 360 was going to be nothing more than a quick port job can breath a little easier, as it seems CD Projekt RED is making the console version something special all its own.
THQ just announced they will be publishing The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings on Xbox 360 this fall.
“Adapting The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Xbox 360 is a massive endeavor for us, and we’re committed to delivering one of the most complex and mature games ever to Xbox 360 players,” said CD Projekt RED studio head Adam Badowski.
“We believe that with the marketing strength and distribution network of THQ we will be able to make the game an incredible success in Europe and around the world.”
