Rumor: Castlevania: Lords of Shadow director working on 3DS title, Castlevania: Mirror of Faith

According to Dutch Nintendo site N1ntendo Konami revealed in their E3 Appointment schedule that Castlevania: Mirror of Faith will be announced exclusively for 3DS. No details at this point, other than David Cox, Producer from Lord of Shadows and Enric Alvarez, director/writer of the same game seem to be working on the title. If true it seems to be another solid addition to the growing 3DS line-up. There’s also been rumors that Konami will announce to sequel to Lords of Shadow at this years E3. We’ll find out in 2 short weeks.
Enjoy nearly 10 minutes of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, and then wish that we’d finally get a next-gen HD Kingdom Hearts. OK, that’s just cruel wishful thinking. We’re still waiting for FF Versus XIII and that was actually announced in 2005. Maybe Square-Enix can muster a new HD Kingdom Hearts next-gen in maybe say 2015.
Never let it be said I don’t love Capcom. They’ve given me the joys of Mega Man, Street Fighter, Devil May Cry, Onimusha, Little Nemo and Ducktales. Never forget Ducktales. But from time to time they love to troll like no other. Case in point, peep out this awesome looking footage of the canceled Mega Man Legends 3 Prototype which will never see the light of day. Behold the joy of never getting to play this. Come on Capcom, give us more Mega Man!
More evidence that Bravely Default: Flying Fairy will be one of the best looking 3DS games when it releases in Japan later this year, and eventually in the West I hope.
As for that strange title, apparently scenario writer Naotaka Hayashi (Steins;Gate) explained the name to Famitsu, and the meaning behind it is quite literal: “Have courage and renounce the promises and responsibilities that are expected of you.”

NEW Spirit Camera trailer. Spirit Camera is a spin-off of the creepy Fatal Frame series that hasn’t seen the light of day in ages. It’s awesome to see developers using all of the neat functions of the 3DS and even better when its to scare the crap out of you. Spirit Camera hits the 3DS this coming April.
Square-Enix’s new Kingdom Hearts 3D special trailer is packed with Disney goodness, most surprising of all is more TRON. WARNING: It’s pretty spoiler heavy but also so so good.

Oh, and in case there’s any confusion at the store, yes, they done goofed and spelled “Revelations” wrong on the spine. It’s OK, it happens.
