Galaxy Next Door is a blog dedicated to gaming, gaming culture and above all else entertainment. You won’t find 3 page long reviews where we write like pretentious wanks talking about bump mapping or the lack of anti-aliasing in games - that’s not our bag.

What is our bag?

What you will find are honest game impressions; blogs from gamers that range from the occasional frustration of getting past a boss that’s a real SOB at 2AM to the insane nostalgic ramblings of a lovelorn arcade junkie; a flood of gaming art, music and random podcasts delivered with humor, wit, heart, and a diet Dr. Pepper.

Our goal is to share our passion of gaming and the amazing subculture it has spawned without the gaming industry’s spin machine, nastiness and elitist attitude. You know, basically making sure folks remember why we play and love video games to begin with - they’re hella fun!

At times campy, definitely geeky, and always honest, we celebrate gaming geekery and all the parts of our lives it has touched.
