Sony unveil new model of PS3 at the Tokyo Game Show Rumoured for a reveal back at Gamescom, Sony have finally pulled the sheet off the new model of PS3 that will be even slimmer than the current PS3 Slim. The new console will be available in either black or white (in Japan) and will be available at two sizes, 250GB or 500GB. In the US, the 250GB model will be out on September 25 and will include a copy of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception and a voucher for the free-to-play Dust 514. It will cost $270. Europe will be receiving the 500GB model, but instead of the 250GB model, they will get a 12GB (flash memory) model which is probably aimed at a more casual market and will be offered at a more affordable price-point.
