Hello, Just wanted to let you guys know that I’m still around; currently I’m doing some top secret hush hush type gaming sh*t. You’ll all see what that is the next few months, real soon, promise.
We got some new reviews coming up this week. Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light will finally get a review, and Shank as well. In the next few months I’m also working on getting some contests going for you guys. You guys rock faces, and I want to reward you guys for supporting us!
Special thanks goes to Hix for the awesome banner picture of this post. Bam fear my invisible pistolas!
Microsoft Games Studios head Phil Spencer and Xbox Japan boss Takashi Sensui will deliver TGS’s opening keynote presentation. Dubbed “Xbox 360’s Vision and 2010’s Strategy,” the keynote will take place September 16th.
Considering that most Keynote platform speakers in the past have had a lot to talk about (what a concept!) and show, odds are MS has more than a few several new undisclosed titles to show-off. Could one be a new Lost Odyssey? Well let’s not get all crazy with the hopes and dreams now.
Sony broadly supporting and actively exploring Online Pass
In a recent interview, Sony’s Andrew House talked about success of PSN+ and Sony’s efforts in bringing online pass to their titles. You may remember that they have already tested online pass with the newest SOCOM PSP and WKC2, now it seems they intend to bring it to all their first party titles.
Happy Birthday to Mr. Hideo Kojima! The man, the *cutscene* myth, the legend behin - *cutscene* the Metal Gear series. He turns 47*cutscene* today! May he continue making games for years to *cutscene* come. ;)
New Castlevania: Lords of Shadow gameplay from Gamescom
Many have assumed that Lords of Shadow is nothing but a God of War rip-off (how is that a bad thing?) but this new footage shows Gabriel Belmont whipping and platforming his way through some beautiful new level, proving that Castlevania is much more than cool looking combat. It also gives a glimpse at some of the improved new cut-scene models.
We’ve known for a while now about Suda51, mastermind behind games like Killer 7 and No More Heroes collaboration with EA, on a new horror title. Well it looks like we might finally get to see what the hell he’s been working on next month at TGS.
A big thanks and welcome to all the new followers. You guys rock! We’re almost at 200 followers which blows my mind! It’s been one hell of a busy week with Gamescom but we tried to get as much news and awesome video gamey goodness up as possible. Expect a Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light review at some point next week. Again, thanks!
