It needed it desperately. The game feels rushed and has some rather questionable design decisions. The choice of forcing you to interact with each villager on a one by one basis is one of the worst in what I feel is a long list of them. Couple that big one with the lack of an emotion wheel and you’re set for lot of hugs and dancing when you just want to get on with the game.
It’s an incredibly charming title, with at times some rather nice visuals. But it’s riddled with a fair amount of bugs, which for myself was the deal breaker on the title. Our reviewer Alex enjoyed it far more than I did. But than again she also didn’t encounter a game killing bug which locked her away in the Sanctuary with a mute Jasper.
